Welcome to Obesity Summit 2026!

It’s time to register for the CT-ASMBS Annual Obesity Summit. The 2026 Planning Committee has created a robust agenda focused on the innovative medical and surgical treatment of obesity.

Today, we work in an environment where treatment is best provided in comprehensive and collaborative programs, offering patients and their families a multi-faceted care plan with long-term support and education.

The final meeting agenda will be available online in the coming weeks.

This year, in addition to sessions on the surgical treatment of obesity, presentations will focus on care from a variety of specialties, including cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, primary care, and obesity medicine. This will offer more CME/CEU education credits and value to our event.

Presenters will include bariatric surgeons, obesity medicine physicians, advanced practitioners, primary care physicians, and providers specializing in behavioral health, nutrition, and exercise physiology. Together, we will learn, discuss, debate, and provide thought-provoking panel discussions and interactive presentations.

The focus of the Obesity Summit is to provide education to a wide audience, including surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, healthcare administrators, nurses, program coordinators, behavioral health providers, dietitians, and staff participating in the comprehensive care of patients with obesity.
